Panorama Mix Bee Balm (Monarda didyma) is a colorful perennial that brings a lively mix of red, pink, purple, and white blooms to the garden. Its shaggy, tubular flowers sit atop upright stems and are highly attractive to hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. This mix is a wonderful choice for pollinator gardens, cottage gardens, and perennial borders, adding both color and wildlife interest throughout the summer.

Bee Balm is easy to grow from seed and offers a long season of bloom. The fragrant foliage is a bonus, and the plants naturalize well in moist, sunny spots. Planting & Care

Sow Panorama Mix Bee Balm seeds indoors 6–8 weeks before the last frost or directly outdoors after the danger of frost has passed. Press seeds lightly into the soil surface; they need light to germinate. Keep the soil consistently moist and maintain a temperature of 65–70°F. Germination typically occurs in 14–21 days. Once seedlings have several true leaves, transplant them outdoors after hardening off, spacing them 18–24 inches apart in a sunny to partially shaded location with moist, well-drained soil.

Water regularly to keep the soil evenly moist, especially during dry spells. Mulch around plants to conserve moisture and suppress weeds. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continued blooming. In late fall, cut back stems to the ground. Bee Balm is generally low-maintenance and can be divided every few years to maintain vigor.
