Raspberry Beret Coneflower is a distinctive Echinacea variety prized for its raspberry-pink petals that surround a prominent, cone-shaped center. This perennial flower adds long-lasting color to borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator plantings, and its sturdy stems make it a useful choice for cut flower arrangements.
Easy to grow from seed, Raspberry Beret Coneflower develops into a clump-forming plant that returns year after year in suitable climates. The blooms attract bees and butterflies, while the seed heads can provide interest into fall and winter.

Planting & Care
Sow Raspberry Beret Coneflower seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost, or direct sow outdoors after the danger of frost has passed. Press seeds lightly into the soil surface and keep them moist but not waterlogged. Germination can be improved with a period of cold stratification. Once seedlings have several sets of true leaves, transplant them to a sunny location with well-drained soil.
Water young plants regularly during their first season to help them establish. Mature coneflowers are relatively drought tolerant but benefit from occasional watering during dry spells. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage continued flowering, or leave seed heads in place for winter interest and wildlife.
