Strawberry Delux Coneflower is a distinctive Echinacea variety prized for its large, strawberry-pink blooms that deepen in color as they mature. The flowers feature a prominent, cone-shaped center and gently reflexed petals, creating a bold, long-lasting display in borders, cottage gardens, and meadow plantings. As a perennial, this coneflower returns year after year, adding reliable color and structure to the garden.
Beyond their visual appeal, coneflowers are well-known for attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies, and the mature seed heads provide interest and food for birds through fall and winter. Strawberry Delux works beautifully in mixed perennial beds, wildflower gardens, and cut flower arrangements.

Planting & Care
Sow Strawberry Delux coneflower seeds indoors 8–10 weeks before the last frost, or directly outdoors in fall or early spring. Press seeds lightly into the soil surface and keep them moist, as light aids germination. Maintain a temperature around 65–70°F. Once seedlings have several sets of true leaves, transplant them outdoors after the danger of frost has passed, spacing them 18–24 inches apart in a sunny location with well-drained soil.
Water regularly during the first growing season to help plants establish. Once established, coneflowers are relatively low-maintenance and drought tolerant. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage continued flowering, or leave some seed heads on the plants for winter interest and bird food. Divide clumps every few years if they become overcrowded.
