Georgia Southern Collard is a classic Southern heirloom variety known for its large, blue-green leaves and excellent cold tolerance. This Creole collard produces flavorful, tender leaves that are perfect for traditional Southern cooking, soups, and stews. The plants grow vigorously and can reach 24-36 inches in height with leaves spanning 10-12 inches across.

Growing Information:
- USDA Zones: 6-11 (best as fall/winter crop in warmer zones, spring/summer in cooler areas)
- Light Requirements: Full sun to partial shade (6+ hours of direct sunlight preferred)
- Water Requirements: Consistent moisture, approximately 1-2 inches per week
- Soil: Well-drained, fertile soil with pH 6.0-6.8
- Planting Depth: ¼ to ½ inch
- Spacing: 18-24 inches between plants
- Days to Maturity: 75-85 days

This packet contains approximately 8000 seeds (1 ounce), providing ample supply for multiple plantings. Seeds are non-GMO and open-pollinated. Collards are nutrient-dense greens rich in vitamins A, C, and K, as well as calcium and fiber. They become sweeter after frost exposure, making them an excellent cool-season crop.
