Rainbow Sherbert Coneflower is a colorful perennial Echinacea selection prized for its warm, sunset-toned blooms. The flowers typically open in shades of orange, coral, pink, and soft yellow, creating a rainbow effect in the garden. These cone flowers are excellent for mixed borders, cottage gardens, pollinator plantings, and cut flower arrangements. As perennials, they return year after year and provide long-lasting color through the summer season.

Echinacea is known for its rugged nature and ability to attract butterflies and bees. Rainbow Sherbert Coneflower brings a cheerful, multi-colored presence to sunny garden beds and meadow-style landscapes. The plants form upright clumps with sturdy stems and prominent central cones that add texture and interest.

Planting & Care

Sow Rainbow Sherbert Coneflower seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost or directly outdoors after the danger of frost has passed. Press seeds lightly into the soil surface and keep moist until germination. Once seedlings have several true leaves, transplant them to a sunny location with well-drained soil. Space plants 18-24 inches apart to allow good air circulation.

Water regularly during the first growing season to help establish a deep root system. Once established, coneflowers are relatively low-maintenance and tolerate short dry spells. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage continued flowering, or leave some seed heads for winter interest and birds.
